Our staff are specialists in their field, graduated and trained at medical school and hospitals in China. Our acupuncturists are licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.

Among them featured as follows are our director and founder, Grant Guan R. Hou, Physician (in China), M.Sc., Dipl.Ac., Lic.Ac., who is a specialist in Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine; Tina Wong, M.A., L.S.W.,C.M.T.  who is a specialist in body work, including shiastu (finger acupressure), Sotai(body alignment), Swedish massage, and psychotherpay, and other acupuncturists and massage therapists sepecialized in Chinese acupuncture, Chinese herb medicine, and Massage(Chinese acupressure/Tui-Na).

He earned his Medical Degree from Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology and his M.Sc. in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the Upstate Medical University of New York. He is licensed by board of registration in medicine of Massachusetts to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in the state.  He brought to us his 20 years' experience and his expertise in Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine.

He has multiple interests and varied experience in teaching, research in both Western and Chinese medicine. He has been involved in the clinical research projects on acupuncture treatment of Alzheimer's disease at Women's Research Center of Wellesley College, and the low back pain study through Research Center on Alternative/Complementary Medicine of Beth Israel Hospital. He is on staff at Zakim Center for Integrated Therapies of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  He is also board certified and licensed in radiation therapy and medical dosimetry and served as program director of Joint Center for Radiation Therapy at Harvard Medical School.  He is the assistant professor at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, core faculty at New England School of Acupuncture, and on the board of directors of Massachusetts Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Besides his general practice, he is specialized and highly successful in treating overweight, stress reduction, pain control, infertility, natural face rejuvenation, smoking cessation and cancer care with Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, acupressure and Chinese herbal medicine.

She earned her Master Degree from Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and specialized in children, adults, couple and family dynamics. Since she is a strong beliver of whole body approach to deal with the health issues, she also studied at and graduated from Boston Shiastu School with specialties in Shiastu (finger acupressure), Sotai (body alignment), Swedish massage.
Tina believes no problem is too big to deal with. One should deal with the problem before it gets worse through seeking the professional help. Our mind and body is a complete system and as we age the mind-body wears down. We must treat the whole body in order to achieve the best outcome. This integrated health care concept allows our patients to choose or mix and match the appropriate therapies that not only help to solve the specific health problems but also will promote and maximize the overall well-being.The holistic approach utilizing complementary therapies such as these available at our clinics shall provide the mind-body a chance for a better and faster healing.
